Balance The Countryside Gym & Studio is a unique and personal training space perched on a hill with beautiful countryside views in Timsbury just outside of Bath.

My name is Sue Jackson and I set up Balance The Countryside Gym in the Village of Timsbury, just outside of Bath.
 
Before you read a little more about me I wanted to extend my thoughts to all of those working hard across the country supporting people infected by COVID 19. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of you.
 
We have all had to adapt to working in a different way and Balance has been no different. I did not want any of our members or MOVE GB members to go without the opportunity of attending their usual weekly classes and as a result all of our instructors are now teaching their classes via Zoom so that you can all exercise from the comfort of your own home. This has not been an easy process and I am incredibly proud of how the Balance team has rallied round to change the way in which we work at such a fast pace. 

Balance The Countryside Gym and Studio is located in the beautiful countryside in a peaceful, quiet and private setting. It has been designed for all those who would like to train in idyllic surroundings in a personal and unique training space with free parking and no traffic queues. 
 
We strongly believe that maintaining balance in your life is key. We combine our wide range of varied classes to suit all age groups and abilities and personal training sessions with advice and mentoring coupled with a healthy approach to diet and fitness. Unlike conventional gyms where it can sometimes feel impersonal and busy with loud music and an emphasis on youth.
 
I believe that everyone can get fitter and improve their quality of life whatever their age, size, shape or fitness level.

Wonderful vibe, care & guidance
I have been a member at this gym for over a year and its become part of my everyday life. Its a really positive and fun place to be with excellent fitness tuition from kettlebells, circuits, dance-fit, pilates, 1:2:1 PT, many types of yoga plus more. Great care is taken in every class regarding your health, with guidance and adapted moves for those with injuries or long term illnesses. I have attended many fitness centers/gyms over the years and nothing comes close to the community at Balance. Lucy

Just brilliant!
I started taking Pilates classes with Balance over the winter when I realised I was sitting at a computer too long each day. Not only are the classes and my instructor Jess fantastic but the whole ethos, ambience and culture of Balance is just so refreshing and spot on. So different from all the run of the mill gyms. The studios are beautiful and well-equipped, the staff are friendly and inspiring and they actually make working out something I look forward to. Couldn't fault them.
