Meditation and Mindfulness

Mindfulness and mediation can improve our sense of wellbeing by bringing more focus to our day-to-day lives. Often these two practices can be confused so just what are they and how do they differ?

Mindfulness focuses on your ability to being fully present and innately aware of your surroundings and feelings in a more engaging way and without distraction, which can help avoid feelings of overwhelm and stress.

Meditation is a practice that can help train in awareness and perspective, by observing thoughts or feelings and can include techniques such as observing your breath or scanning your body to identify specific tension or stress.

Both mindfulness and meditation take time to master and finding expert support and guidance can really benefit your practice at any stage.
